最近

最近ね、学校は本当に忙しいの。
特に数学。
あ、そうだ！私の数学クラスには日本人があるよ！
まあ、３回だけ話しました。
でもね、この人はやっぱり日本人！クイズがあったんだけど、一分半で終わったの！クラス全員びっくりしたｗｗ「早過ぎ！」って。
ああ、ＹｏｕＴｕｂｅで新しいアカウント作った！ＳｈｕｕｍａｉＳｕｂｓという名前です。このアカウントは私が日本語でのビデオで字幕付したのためです。

見てる出来るか分かんないの。Ａｖｅｘが著作権侵害の申し立てしたんだから。。いくつかの国にはこのビデオ見えることは出来ません。ばかばかし、ね？

So, it's been like a month since I last updated, and I actually have reason. School is busy!! Waaay busier than last year @__@

Then again, grade 11 is meant to be the hardest year, so I've been bracing myself LOL

But, that being said, to make up for my absence I've been taking pictures :D I'll update them sometime later today or tomorrow hopefully; there's A LOT.

タイトルの見た通りに、ビデオに自分の字幕付けてたの！
YouTubeに他の人の翻訳を見て「わぁ～すごく間違ってるな」と思ってしまうの。そんなに間違ってるの。
たとえば、「内相だよ」は翻訳の後に「いいでしょう」になってるの。
または「言葉は以外にも魔力を秘めてるの」は翻訳の後に「今から君の言うことは実になる」。
どんだけ間違ってる？！
まぁ、そのようなビデオにコメントしました。「このビデオを一所懸命で作ってありがとう、でも翻訳の殆どは間違ってるよ」と助言の意味で言いました。で、何やら、他の人が「何でアップローダに怒らせてるの？皆は要旨を分かるために作った！自分の失礼なコメントを削除しなさい。その失礼なコメントの置換に正しい翻訳ポストして。あんたは日本語でそんなにペラペラなら、何でこのビデオ見てんの？いっぱい字幕付けてないビデオがいる。その方を見て！」と応答した。
「へ？！」だけが思ったの。「失礼？私のコメント？どこが？」みたいな。
でその人に返事した。
「あの、私のコメントは失礼と思わなかった。。でもあなたはすごくいやな意味で受けた。ただ「翻訳は間違ってるよ」と言いたかったの。どこが悪いの？アドバイスとして言いました。そして私は自分の翻訳字幕ビデオを作りますなので、それが見たら、理解かもしれない。だってアップローダは「この翻訳は教育のためです」と言いた。でも翻訳はこんなに間違ってるよ！この翻訳から誰もが勉強できない。」
まぁ、そんな感じで。
で、アップローダが私のコメントを削除しました。

METEOR....WHOOSH

So, it's been pretty eventful around here lately.
An empty shop in town is now being used as a set for some movie O_O
Not only that, but the movie involves Christmas being early.....
That's right.
It's mid-August and there are Christmas decorations all over nearly half of the main street. It's crazy.
AND
There's a meteor shower tonight. Me and my family drove out of the town to some elevated land where there are NO LIGHTS.
It was intense :D

So, a while ago I went on a downloading spree for J-Pop and K-Pop... I'm still not done sorting it all @__@
I'm nearly done with the J-Pop. There were like 1000 ish songs? I dunno, but there's been A LOT.
Anyways, once I'm done with J-Pop, then I'll do K-Pop then I'll wipe my iTunes library clean and then re-choose what songs I want....
This might take a while :/

あのね、外耳炎を得た。右耳から始まったけど左耳に蔓延るしたの。不運だね。誕生日（８月４日）なのに。

最初の四日間は本当に苦しかった。痛みはすごかったよ。

お久しぶりだね

お久しぶり！
いや、最近ブログしなかったよね。ごめん OTL
すごくつまんない、こっちには。
毎日起きて（１０時ぐらい）でブランチュを食べて、パソコンでビデオを見て、晩御飯を食べてで朝の１時で眠る。
今年家族はどこにも旅行しないんのでする事はあまりないの。。。
でもニコニコ動画で色んなビデオを見ています。コメントを読むのは私の日本語練習ｗｗ
みんな面白いね。

I've not really been up to much, but two days ago my family and I went to the last day of a multicultural festival. It was fun, with lots of great food >:D

School's out for summer!!

Woo~ School's officially over and out for summer! :D
I got my report card, schedule for next year, and a medal for honours with distinction. Yay me :)

まだスコットランドにいたら。。。

まだスコットランドにいたら、私、違う人になったんだろうか。。。
ちょっと、怖いな想像。
スコットランドにいる友達の最近の写真を見ると、ショックになります。
本当に変わりましたね。良い変化と悪い変化、両方があるの。
三年前と比べると、みんなは知らない人になった。不思議だね。
でも今の私が好き。だから取りあえずに変わらない。
スコットランドの友達は私の写真を見るとどう思ってるのかな。。。
「めぐは本当に変わったないね！」と言った友達がある。
お世辞か分からないけどちょっと羨ましいになります。
「私は変えることできない？」と思ってるんです。
でも、まだ考えると「今の自分が好きなら、変えることしなくていいよ。」な考え思ってる。
本当に不思議なことですね。

外国にはアニメとアニメションはちょっと違う

アニメ。。。好き？

私、アニメが大好き。
なんか、初めて日本に好きになった時はアニメのせいだった。
「またこんな外人が出た。いつも「アニメアニメ」言うの！」
まぁ、違うじゃないけど、アニメは日本が好き理由だけではない！
食べ物、文化、民、音楽、言語。。。全部が大好き。特には言語。
日本の嫌いなとこはあんまりないけど、あります。好きなとこは嫌いなとこより多い。
日本に行きたいなぁー

Thumbs

You never really realize how much you use your thumbs until you can't use them....
I was washing up all the dishes and everything after lunch, and I was washing the knife and as my luck would have it, I was using a fair amount of force because food was dried onto it and the sponge slipped, and then the knife cut my thumb ;__;
It cut pretty deep as well....
I'm just surprised that I didn't faint. Shock makes me faint. Like the time me and my dad were playing basketball and he passed me the ball and it ever so slightly hit my finger inward (like into the joint) and I got dizzy, went inside, and fainted and just so happened to land on my cat. That's how I got the scar down my left cheek. I very nearly got clawed in the eye. Good thing I didn't!
I'm not looking forward to my shower later tonight... it's gonna be sting galore!

Exams are over~! Just need to go to two more half-days then I'm free for the summer!!!

Oh, I found some more stuff to do over summer. Added to my list of cooking and learning more Japanese is ziplining, rafting, possibly go-karting and laser tag, writing fanfics and photography :D
Yay for me for finding things to do this summer. This'll be the first summer in years (seriously, like 7 years) where I don't go away somewhere during summer holiday.
Barbeque for dinner tonight~ Homemade burgers with lots of vegetables. Yummy! :)

Wow, yesterday there was a pretty big thunder and lightning storm, not much rain, but WOW you could really hear the thunder rumbling. We even had a 30 second power outage. It was intense :D When the power went out I was running on our treadmill. I nearly fell over because the treadmill suddenly stopped so quickly. I'm kinda hoping for another storm :D Not looking forward to the  humidity that leads up to the storm though.

昨日は家族と散歩に行きました。空はとてもキレイでした！

「世界を変えることは出来ますか？」

この数日前「わたしたちの教科書」と言うドラマ見ました。中々良いドラマです。いじめと自殺はメインポイントでテーマは「世界を変えることは出来ますか？」
エンディングエピソードにこの質問また出たですが学生に聞きました。いろんな返事がありました。
この返事の中で、一つが目立っていました。
「僕はどちらかと言うと、世界を変える前に自分を変えたいです。自分を変える方が難しいと思います。」
私もそう思います。
だって、自分を変えることも出来ないなら、どうやって世界を変える？
「自分を変えることは出来ない。」
そう思ってる人はたくさんいます。そんな思い方はイヤです。
自分を変えることはできる！変えたくないだけ。
なんで変化は怖いの？怖いことじゃない。

あぁ、このこと話しているから、2009年夏の日本旅行から写真が思い出した。

夏と言えば

こんばんは！
お久しぶりの日本語ブログです。
実は今週の木曜日と金曜日と来週の月曜日と火曜日には試験があります。大変なことですね？でも、もうすぐ夏休みがくる！楽しみ～
みんなは夏休みの時何をしていると思ってるの？
私。。。趣味を見つかるのは一番です。。。だって、あまり趣味ないんだもん。日本語を勉強するだけ。。。ちょっとつまらない人だね、アタシ＾＾；
ヴァイオリンを始めるの思ったんだけど、まぁ、私は音楽できない、どんなフォームでも。ピアノは一年半ぐらい弾いて見たかったんですが、やめました。。。でギターを始めた。ギターの弾いてるのは一年ぐらいだけ。やっぱり音楽できないわよね。
ですから、いろんな料理を作ってみたい。串団子とか、ジャージャー麺とか、天ぷらとか、から揚げまで作ってみたいです！どう思う？おなかすいた？想像だけでツバが出る。。。
。。。。。。エヘ～
冗談だよ。。。。たぶん。。。

EXAMS

Hooray for the weekend! I've already done 2/4 of my exams; I'm half way there~
On Thursday, I had my history "test". To be honest, it wasn't really a test and it wasn't really an exam. It was way too long to be considered a test but it wasn't an exam because it didn't cover everything that I had learnt over the semester....
I managed to finish and hand in the exam around 8 seconds before the announcement came on signifying the end of the compulsory 2 hour time period. I think my weak point in the exam was Rome. I got most of it covered except for a matching section which was filled with names that I don't ever remember being mentioned in class, but whatever, I'm just glad that history is over. It was by far the most boring class. I actually quite like history it's just that the teachers make it boring.
Today, I had my English exam. It was LONG. Holy crap, it was like 15 pages long, most of them being essay questions. I was writing for 2 hours and 45 minutes. Me and my friend were the last ones in the classroom, but, then again, in the class, both of us write the most. By the last question, I had no idea what I was even writing, my hand was just moving and creating words.... I guess that isn't a great thing ^^;;
Anyways, it's done and over with. On Monday I have to do a frog dissection for bio, and then Tuesday I have a science test, but I know all my stuff, so no worries there :D

School's nearly out!!

Tomorrow's the last proper day of school! :D ....but then I have exams.... history then english.....

I finished my history project!

...but there's a twist...

When me and my mum were putting together the kaminari mon it was so hard to do since there were so many small pieces, so we decided to do another one that we could get done easily.

So, we made the Great Buddha of Todaiji Temple.

Isn't it awesome? :D

Once I get back from school I just need to cut out two things for the history project, fold them, then I can start assembling it!! :D

Exams are approaching....but so is summer!

Well, more like I have two exams and two tests during exam time.

My exams are in bio (I have to dissect a frog) and english. The tests are in history (Greece & whatever we managed to get covered about Rome) and science (about ecosystems).

Anywho, on another note, my brother bought some anime/game merchandise on the weekend, but I didn't post pictures because my brother hadn't taken the pictures. But, now I have them~

Calligraphy & Food

So, we went out to the city yesterday and, of course, we went to the Oriental food shop :D

Not much

Just as the title of this post hints, not much has happened. Working on my history project which is due this coming Friday @__@ I'll probably need to ask for an extension; my teacher won't mind since I'm such a good student :D

A fude pen is a calligraphy pen, and, because of K-ON!, whenever I hear the word "fude pen", their song "Fudepen ~Ballpen~" always jumps to mind. For those who haven't heard it, here's the song:

I smell of campfires...

Where to even start? So much happened today and boy, I'm tired.

So, me and all of the bio students went out to a rock shore to study the aquatic life there. Things like periwinkles, dog whelks, crabs, seaweed etc. There was quite a lot of info we had to collect. But, around noon we had basically finished, so we went back to the top of the shore where people had some campfires going. Of course, I remembered to take marshmallows :) But, downwind of my group's fire was another group's so we got a fair amount of smoke blown right at us. Now I reek of smoke from all the campfire's.
Aside from that, it was fun :D

That's just the short version, it'd take forever to write out everything, and I'm too tired to anyways. I ended up sleeping for around 45 minutes when I got home, so now I feel better. But, I'll still sleep like a log tonight :D
Unfortunately, I didn't get any pictures because I didn't take the camera because I didn't want to destory it @__@

I'm tired still, but I've got work to do for tomorrow, so I'll take my leave here.
Good thing tomorrow is Friday! Weekend~ Not to mention that I might be going out tomorrow night to play some laser tag >:D It's been years since I last did it, so it'll be tonnes of fun!!
